Rebecca Munda joined Watson College Consulting in 2026. Rebecca is a seasoned educator who has dedicated more than 25 years to the college admissions profession, shaping futures and guiding students through the complex landscape of higher education.
For over 15 years, Rebecca served as the College Counseling Director at Convent & Stuart Hall in San Francisco, where she was known for her commitment to student success and her deep expertise in college admissions. She is currently the Co-Director of College Counseling at The Athenian School in Danville, CA and works with a small group of Watson College Consulting clients.
Rebecca’s journey in college admission counseling began in undergraduate admissions. As Assistant Director at Loyola Marymount University, gaining valuable insights into the admissions process from the ground up.
In addition to her work in schools, Rebecca offers private counseling to a select group of families, helping them navigate the complexities of college admissions with personalized guidance.
Rebecca has also made her mark on the broader field. She has served as a NACAC Assembly Delegate and as Admission Practices Chair of the Western Association for College Admission Counseling. Her passion for supporting all students’ access to higher education extends beyond the school environment. She has been an active lobbyist for educational concerns in Sacramento and played a pivotal role as a voice for students during the Department of Justice investigation of NACAC, which led to significant changes in their “Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.”
Outside of her professional life, Rebecca is the proud mother of two young sons, Oliver and Theo. Much of her free time is spent on basketball courts, where she enthusiastically supports her boys playing hoops.
